Staff at Nasake no Onna decided to share how Seto looks when he isn't in costume as Tomoya. Yeah, that's him before the make-up artists and hair stylists have touched him. That is one beautiful and stylish boy!

Also! Ichigo was telling me about the preview for next week's Nasake no Onna, where Tomoya is in a love triangle and there is tragedy. I said, just joking, Seto, don't kick her! Bishop will kill her when you aren't looking!

Then I went to look at the preview synopsis at the official site. Now, you go look, too.

Did you watch Kamen Rider Kiva? Did you wonder at the transformation of Wataru? No, not his psychological transformation. His physical transformation.

Possibly spoilers, if you haven't finished watching. )

TV Nihon has translated the director's cut of the Kamen Rider Kiva movie. From what I understand, there's more fan service included.

Kurenai Wateru

Seriously, could there be more fan service?

Update. I finished my download and sat down to see what had been cut out.

The director's cut is so much better than the theatrical release! The original release left me scratching my head. It just didn't hang together at all. This one, while still an Alternate Reality to the series, fleshes out the relationships and events so much better. For one thing, after watching the theatrical release, I thought that the settings and direction looked cheap and childish. But after watching the director's cut? Hey! What a complete homage to old Hollywood monster movies! The fight scenes are also much better, with none of the choreography missing and restored action sequences that make sense of the results. Megumi and Yuri get fleshed out. Rey's background is revealed.

And there was something else, very important, returned to its rightful place. To me, there are two things that endear Kiva to my heart. One is people falling down stairs. The Kiva cast went down flights of stairs Slinky-style more often than on foot.  Rolling down the steps was part of the theatrical release, but something integral to Kiva was still missing:

A bath scene, because it just isn't Kiva without Wataru in the bathtub. Preferably entertaining a guest. Oh, Wataru, you have such boundary issues!

If you have more money than you know what to do with, you can buy this:

Kamen Rider Kiva Project BM!

So that you can get a ticket that allows you to buy this:

Kurenai Wataru/Seto Koji Project BM!

That is one incredibly good doll sculpt, don't you think? I suppose it helps that Seto Koji already looks like a doll.
