As you probably know since I've been relentlessly collaring every hapless ljfriend, friend of a friend, tweep and relative, I will donate $2 (up to $100) for everyone of you who shows me that you are helping Japan's entertainment industry by buying fan goods. If you aren't sure what to buy, I suggest Runway Beat goods or D*DATE's upcoming single CHANGE My LIFE. Oh, and I highly recommend the Seto Koji fashion calendar. Wow! Talk about a good investment for your hard earned recreational spending! It's not so much calendar as it is 24 high quality posters with a convenient hole to hang it.

Oh, um, sorry. Sort of losing track of my mission here....

OK, just click on that great big link there, and post me a screen shot of your proof of purchase. No identifying info is necessary.

But am I actually going to do this? I just did. 10 of you have met my challenge, and since people freezing their assets off in Tohoku need help now, I donated the $20 that these first 10 have earned with their rabid fannishness and love for Japan. Here's my own proof of purchase:

3/19 Mercy Corps donation

I hope next week to be able to donate the rest, but that's up to you. If you can't buy anything, though, could I please trouble you to click that button on the left there and make your own donation? Even just $10 would help. Or maybe you might want to buy a lovely bracelet to show your support of Japan and help out the Red Cross?

I have found a way to send less expensive postcards and letters to Japan!

It's called netpost . All you have to do is write your letter or a postcard and pay using a major credit card or, it seems, Paypal even! You can even write the address in English! And you can upload a background for your postcard so that it will show your personality or business or whatnot. And they mail it by the end of the next business day! Isn't that great?

Next fan letter I send, I'm using netpost!

Did you watch Kamen Rider Kiva? Did you wonder at the transformation of Wataru? No, not his psychological transformation. His physical transformation.

Possibly spoilers, if you haven't finished watching. )

At last! The work week was hell, then yesterday I hosted the family Thanksgiving, so, it should be obvious, I have been beat! Not having the energy to do anything else, though, freed me up to waste my day googling Japanese sites for Stuff I Haven't Seen. Here is what I found interesting:

Ikemen Zakkaten has a interview with Koji from May 2009.

A blogger who calls herself Mocchi shares the excitement as she unwraps her Tomo dvd and checks out the goods. There are pictures. (Or is she sharing this from Tomo's mobile blog? Hard for me to tell. Either way---pictures!)

Oh, and this is something I saw a couple weeks ago, but if you don't comb Japanese sites for gossip, you may have missed it. If I understand right, Britney Hamada has/had a thing for Koji Seto. (She was with Chisato's bodyguards in Atadan.) He doesn't return the feeling. Also, she's not actually homeless, as if anyone could have thought she was.
